MCP server for Power BI model editing
SemanticOps is a local MCP server for working with Power BI models from Claude, Claude Code, and other MCP clients. It exposes model reading, DAX querying, measure creation, relationship management, and performance tasks through conversation. The repo also ships skill folders for common Power BI workflows.
Builders who want their agent to inspect and edit Power BI semantic models instead of treating them as a black box.
You can ask your agent to query, change, and check Power BI models without switching out of conversation.

Installation
