High-performance code intelligence MCP server. Indexes codebases into a persistent knowledge graph — average repo in milliseconds. 158 languages, sub-ms queries, 99% fewer tokens. Single static binary, zero dependencies.
MCP server and browser extension for localhost annotations
Vibe Annotations adds visual annotation tools to localhost development. You click Annotate on a page, leave feedback on elements, and then use the MCP integration or copy the annotations to send them to your agent.
Builders who want their agent to act on visual feedback from a local web app.
You can point out design or UI fixes on a live page and have your agent implement them from the annotations.
What it does
Page annotations
Lets you click Annotate on localhost pages and attach notes to multiple screens in a web app.
MCP integration
Connects annotations to AI coding agents so they can read and implement the feedback.
Clipboard handoff
Provides a View all > Copy flow when you want to paste annotations into your agent manually.
Setup wizard
Uses `npx vibe-annotations-server init` to install the server, start it in the background, and configure the agent.
Documentation site
Includes docs for installation, MCP setup, workflows, architecture, and troubleshooting.
How to get it
- 12. Run the setup wizard
npx vibe-annotations-server init

For more features explanations (like collaboration via file sharing, AI-assisted annotations, watch mode...) please read the docs.
Get started
1. Install the browser extension
2. Run the setup wizard
npx vibe-annotations-server init
One interactive command installs the global server, starts it in the background, and configures your AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, OpenClaw, VS Code). Prefer manual? See Installation.
3. Open a localhost page, click Annotate. You can annotate multiple pages on your web app. Then:
A (recommended) - Use the MCP to implement your Annotations
B - Copy to your clipboard: View all > Copy and send to your AI coding agent.

Git-native persistent memory for AI coding agents. Implements Google OKF v0.2 with sub-300µs in-memory BM25 search, embedded MCP server, and progressive disclosure. Slashes token bloat by 80% with zero external databases or dependencies. Built in pure Go.
Local-first code intelligence graph for MCP and CLI. Builds a persistent map of your codebase so AI coding tools read only what matters, with benchmarked context reductions on reviews and large-repo workflows.
Stop your AI from making things up — it proposes, deterministic tools decide, every claim checked against ground truth with evidence. Grounded facts and context survive resets. Reverse engineering is the proving ground. MCP server + CLI.
